Why this notice
This page describes how the portal of the Marche Region manages the processing of personal data for users who consult it.
This information is provided pursuant to articles 12 and 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter "Regulation") for the processing of personal data to those who interact and provide data through the websites of the Marche Region-Regional Government.

Purposes

Navigation Data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the website and the online services made available acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by their nature, they could allow the identification of users through processing and association with data held by third parties.
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user's operating system and computer environment.
This data is used to obtain anonymous statistical information about the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used, upon request by the competent authorities, to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

Data Provided Voluntarily by the User
For access to some services provided through the site, the optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated may be required. The subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data entered in the message, will follow.
Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the site prepared for particular services on request.

Personal data are processed using automated and manual tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which there were collected and to ensure confidentiality and security.

Communication of Data
The data collected will be processed exclusively by the staff and collaborators of the Marche Region.
Some processing operations may also be carried out by third-party entities to whom the Region entrusts certain activities or parts thereof, functional to the provision of services.
For these additional subjects, designated as external Data Processors, the Region imposes, through a contract or another legal act in accordance with EU or Member State law, appropriate obligations regarding the protection of personal data through operational instructions, with particular reference to the adoption of suitable technical and organizational measures, in order to guarantee the confidentiality and security of the data pursuant to Article 32 of the Regulation.
Outside of these cases, data will not be communicated to third parties or disclosed, except as specifically provided for by national or European Union law.

Rights of Data Subjects
The citizen has the rights provided for by Regulation 2016/679/EU and, in particular, can ask the data controller for access to personal data or their rectification or deletion.
The citizen has the right to file a complaint, pursuant to Article 77 of Regulation 2016/679/EU, with the Italian Data Protection Authority located in Rome.
